The Rodeo News is an established magazine that began in 1993 as a roping publication covering Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Since that time, coverage has expanded to all 50 states, including Canada, with the theme being Nothin’ But Rodeo. The publication averages 144 pages each issue, and is printed twice a month, with the exception of December. The Rodeo News carries schedules, results, and standings for its associations as well as human interest stories, historical rodeo personalities, and how-to articles. We cover everything from youth to old timers and the pros. We are currently the official publication for 29 rodeo associations including four national associations.

On The Trail...
Long before saddle bronc rider Wade Sundell won Calgary Stampede this year and the 2009 Dodge National Circuit Finals Championship title, he practiced his rodeo skills on a barrel on the trampoline. “When we were kids, my older brother and I would put a barrel on the trampoline and take turns trying to stay on while the other jumped around.” It seemed no matter how many times Wade fell off splitting his head open and being hauled to the hospital by his mom, rodeo was in his blood. “Mom would get upset and try to stop us, but we would always find a way. If she tells us not to do something of course were going to do it,” Wade laughs.
